VTI

VTI – Villaggio Turistico Internazionale, one of Italy’s most prestigious open-air resorts, has chosen YATO as its partner for digitalizing operations. The partnership between the property in the province of Venice—an outstanding part of Aurore Development Spa’s tourism ecosystem—and the Mashfrog Group company specializing in digital hospitality services, aims to optimize VTI’s check-in, payment, and operational management processes, offering guests a smooth, innovative experience while improving internal efficiency.

Italian 5-star open-air excellence

VTI – Villaggio Turistico Internazionale is one of Italy’s most renowned 5-star open-air resorts. Located in Bibione (VE), in the heart of the Venetian coast, together with Ca’ Pasquali Village and Vela Blu Camping Village in Cavallino-Treporti, it forms a trio of open-air destinations known throughout Europe and managed by Aurore Development Spa.

With a capacity to host up to 3,500 guests per day, VTI stands as a benchmark for premium open-air tourism, combining comfort, innovation, and environmental sustainability.

VTI offers a wide and diverse range of accommodations: 180 villas nestled in the pine forest, a residence with 40 apartments, over 260 mobile homes, and about 300 camping pitches designed to meet a variety of guest needs. Completing the guest experience are a private beach, five swimming pools, numerous areas dedicated to sports and entertainment, and a high-end Food & Beverage offering that includes two restaurants and four bars.

Since its founding in the late 1950s, the VTI brand has grown and evolved through several generations of the Granzotto family, shaping the tourism ecosystem of Aurore Development Spa and helping to position Bibione and Cavallino-Treporti as top destinations for open-air tourism.

Today, Aurore Development Spa continues to invest in innovation and quality across all its activities, maintaining a strong connection with the region and promoting a sustainable, nature-immersed vacation style. VTI, Ca’ Pasquali Village, and Vela Blu Camping Village stand as internationally recognized examples of this vision, as confirmed by their recent achievements at the 2025 PinCamp Awards held at the CMT Tourism Fair in Stuttgart.

Leadership and strategic vision in the hospitality sector

VTI is led by Alberto Granzotto, CEO and a leading figure in Italy’s open-air hospitality industry. Since 2021, he has also served as the National President of FAITA–Federcamping, the federation representing open-air tourism businesses and a member of Confturismo–Confcommercio.

This dual responsibility, combined with Aurore Development Spa’s decades of experience in the tourism sector, reflects Granzotto’s commitment not only to developing VTI but also to promoting innovation and competitiveness across the entire open-air hospitality industry — a constantly evolving sector that demands ever-higher standards of service and digitalization.

Over the decades, the Granzotto family has demonstrated a broad and pioneering entrepreneurial vision, continuously innovating the tourism offering while strengthening its local roots and generating hundreds of jobs. The Aurore Development Spa group, led by the Granzotto brothers, has built a true ecosystem of open-air tourism facilities, as well as two businesses focused on sustainability and the local community: the restaurant La Tenuta del Cavallino and its adjoining craft brewery, both managed by Andrea Granzotto, who also serves as CEO of Ca’ Pasquali Village and Vela Blu Camping Village in Cavallino-Treporti.

The partnership between VTI and YATO

To meet the new challenges of hospitality, enhance the guest experience, and make internal operations increasingly practical and efficient, VTI has chosen YATO, a Mashfrog Group company, as its strategic partner for the digitalization of front-line and back-office processes.

The main goal of the agreement is to simplify and optimize daily operations through the integration of cutting-edge technological solutions based on Oracle Hospitality, specifically the OPERA PMS and Simphony POS platforms, designed to work together seamlessly.

Thanks to this collaboration, VTI will be able to introduce innovations aimed at making the guest experience smoother and more consistent, while improving the internal management efficiency of the resort.

Technological innovation at the service of hospitality

The solutions developed by YATO are designed to cover key areas of hospitality management, integrating different systems to achieve faster, safer, and more scalable processes.

  • Smart Check-in and Check-out
One of the first initiatives focuses on the digitalization of check-in and check-out flows, which will become faster and more consistent thanks to integration with OPERA PMS.
This will enable staff to manage operations from mobile devices, reducing lines and wait times while improving guest reception and overall satisfaction.

  • Trackable Payments and Automated Reporting
Another key area of focus is POS payment reporting, which will be fully automated. The new system will enable immediate and accurate reconciliation between different points of sale and management accounting, eliminating manual tasks and minimizing the risk of errors.

  • Integrated Payment Solutions for F&B
Pay-at-table solutions will be introduced, allowing guests to pay directly at their table through POS devices integrated with Simphony.
This technology also includes the room-charge function, enabling meals and beverages to be billed directly to the guest’s room, ensuring a seamless experience and consistent guest profile management.

Strategic benefits for guests and staff

The adoption of YATO solutions represents a strategic step for VTI, bringing tangible benefits both to the guest experience and to operational efficiency.

  • Enhanced guest experience: shorter wait times at reception, seamless payments in restaurants, and full consistency between PMS and POS data.
  • Operational efficiency: elimination of manual tasks and simplification of financial reporting, resulting in faster and more reliable processes.
  • Data governance: centralized information management with real-time visibility on occupancy, revenue, and performance to support strategic decision-making.
  • Scalability: using a standard technology stack like Oracle allows for easy expansion of solutions to other properties managed by the Granzotto family.

A future-oriented model of open-air hospitality

Thanks to this partnership, VTI reaffirms its position as a forward-thinking player in open-air hospitality, successfully combining tradition and innovation.

The decision to invest in digitalization and technological integration represents not only an immediate operational improvement but also a step toward more sustainable, secure, and customer-oriented management.

With its deep expertise in the hospitality sector and in delivering solutions based on Oracle Hospitality, YATO proves to be the ideal partner to support high-end hospitality businesses in their digital transformation journey.

This collaboration not only raises VTI’s standards but also helps define a new paradigm for luxury camping and open-air tourism in Italy, demonstrating how technology can be a key ally in creating unforgettable guest experiences.

The partnership between VTI and YATO is a prime example of how technological innovation can transform the hospitality industry, delivering tangible benefits to all stakeholders — from operators to end customers.

With Bibione as a laboratory of excellence, this partnership serves as a replicable model for other Italian and European resorts, paving the way for a new era of open-air hospitality where comfort, efficiency, and sustainability go hand in hand.
