Live Naples… and then Mashfrog! Giovanni shares his story
Giovanni Arrichiello, Project Manager and Solution Architect, tells us about his work, the new Naples office, and the value of his life experiences.

This year, Naples became home to a new Mashfrog office, strategically located in the business district just steps from the central station — a tangible sign of the company’s commitment to embracing opportunities and talent within the Neapolitan ecosystem. In this interview, Giovanni Arrichiello, Project Manager and Solution Architect in the Customer Digital Solutions BU, takes us through this new venture and shares the professional and personal journey that led him here.
What do you do at Mashfrog?
I joined Mashfrog in November 2023 as a Project Manager and Solution Architect in the Customer Digital Solutions BU, led by Michele Zagnoli. My role involves managing projects from analysis to delivery, as well as defining and validating architectural solutions. In practice, I oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that the technological choices are consistent, robust, and aligned with the client’s goals.
Since April, I’ve been working at the new Naples office, alongside other colleagues from my same BU. We collaborate constantly with team members from other locations in a dynamic environment that values teamwork. Although remote work is fully supported, I personally prefer working on-site — for me, direct interaction, real-time dialogue, and the energy that comes from being together truly make a difference.
What has your career path been like?
After graduating in 2011, my first job was at a call center. At first glance, it might seem unrelated to IT, but it was actually my first real exposure to the digital world. It was during that time that I discovered Salesforce—a platform that immediately caught my interest and sparked a curiosity that soon evolved into a full-fledged professional path.
In 2017, I took the opportunity to move to Bergamo to work at WebResults, where I was able to strengthen my CRM skills and build a solid technical foundation. After two years, I decided to return to Naples, driven by the desire to build something meaningful in my hometown. That’s when I chose to complete my academic journey, resuming my studies and earning a Master’s degree in Economics.
At the same time, I started working at Almaviva, where I eventually had the opportunity to build and manage a team of around 30 people. It was a formative experience in many ways, especially in terms of leadership, resource management, and responsibility. After a couple of years, I moved on to another major company, Capgemini, where I worked on nationwide projects and further honed my skills.
In 2023, joining Mashfrog marked a new starting point for me: greater responsibilities, an evolving environment, and the real opportunity to contribute to the growth of a company that values innovation, trust, and people development.
How are you organized at the new Naples office?
The Mashfrog office in Naples was inaugurated in April 2025 and represents a key milestone in the company’s growth across Southern Italy. There are already many of us here, but the goal is to continue expanding in the coming months. The space was designed for flexible use: workstations are booked through an internal tool, and everyone has the freedom to work from home or at the office.
The decision to set up in the business district was no coincidence: it’s a strategic location in the city, easily accessible and a symbol of Naples’ entrepreneurial spirit. It’s a vibrant area, full of companies, professionals, and energy. Being here is also a statement — Mashfrog is present, rooted, and committed to being an active part of the local community.
I was personally involved in the search for the office space, evaluating various options until we found the one that best met our business and operational needs. Today, this office is a meeting point—a place to build professional relationships and collaborate on projects in person.
Looking back, who is Giovanni today?
I’m the result of a complex past that confronted me with major challenges early on. My childhood and adolescence weren’t easy—I had to learn from the start how to be self-reliant, how to manage on my own, and how to find solutions even when they seemed impossible. Along the way, however, I was lucky to meet a key figure: Padre Antonino, a spiritual guide who supported me through my growth, instilling in me deep values and lessons that I still carry with me today.
My upbringing was deeply shaped by an authentic and personal spirituality. Even during the hardest times, I always felt I wasn’t alone. There was always a greater force supporting me, a sense of trust that guided me. I faced every challenge with a deep, intimate belief that a solution would come. And that’s exactly what happened: even in the most critical moments, I found a way to keep going, to respond, and to turn difficulties into new opportunities.
Today, I know that much of who I am, I owe to that very experience. Life has tested me, but it has also given me a lot—opportunities, encounters, and experiences that have enriched me. Despite everything, I’ve always felt fortunate. I had the chance to shape myself, and to do it my own way. And that has made me the man I am today: self-aware, grounded, and happy.
Finally, what are your plans for the future?
The future is still a road waiting to be explored, but I have a clear vision. On a personal level, my wife and we’re expecting our first child. We've decided not to find out the gender until birth—a little mystery that makes this wait even more special.
On a professional level, I feel like I’m midway through my journey. I’ve reached important milestones, but I know there’s still much to learn and build. Over time, I’d like to take on roles with greater responsibility and contribute to the growth of the Business Unit I work in. I have no shortage of determination, and I’m confident that with time and commitment, everything will come together.
