Can you tell us about your role in Mashfrog and what your work focuses on today?
I’m a Solutions Consultant at Mashfrog Infor Practice and proud to be the first official employee in Mexico. My main focus is on Infor WMS, with some experience in Infor M3. Coming from a Sales and Business Development background, I’ve always been close to customers and their needs. Today, my role is not only to help expand Mashfrog’s presence in new markets, but also to deepen my technical expertise. By understanding the inner workings of WMS and ERP systems, I can better connect technology, people, and business outcomes. For me, it’s all about building long-term relationships grounded in trust, innovation, and results.
What has been your professional journey so far, and how did you transition from the automotive industry to IT and ERP solutions?
My career started in the automotive industry after studying Mechatronics Engineering. I worked at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (now Stellantis), as a Product Development Engineer. It was a great experience for me as a young graduate. There I learned how to tackle complex technical problems and how global companies work. That experience gave me a strong technical foundation, but I was eager to move closer to the world of technology. The transition into IT and, specifically, ERP consulting happened by chance, but it gave me the opportunity to combine my engineering background with technology innovation. Over the years, I’ve seen how ERP solutions can truly reshape the way companies operate, and that’s what excites me about being in this industry.
You're passionate about climbing. What inspired this interest, and what do you find most rewarding about the activity?
Mountaineering and rock climbing started for me as both a sport and a way to disconnect, but over time it became much more than that. It was a way to get to get to know me better and the limits I could reach. It’s a way to challenge me physically, of course, but even more so mentally. I believe it mirrors life in many ways: every route or mountain is a problem to solve, requiring preparation, patience, focus, and resilience. There are also moments when you’re stuck and you think you cannot go further, the same way it happens in life. At the end, the most rewarding part is reaching the top knowing the effort and mindset it took to get there and realizing that growth always comes when you push beyond your comfort zone.
You spent time in Italy during your University years. What made that experience special, and how did it feel to later join an Italian company?
My student experience in Milan was amazing. Beyond the academic side, it was about discovering a new culture, learning a new language, and building new friendships. Italian culture has a warmth and passion that resonated with me, and it gave me a sense of belonging. Years later, when I had the chance to join Mashfrog, an Italian company, it felt like things had come full circle. It wasn’t just a professional decision, it was also very personal, because I already felt a connection to Italy and its culture.
Looking ahead, what are your personal or professional goals for the future?
Professionally, my goal is to continue strengthening Mashfrog’s presence in Mexico and Latin America. I want to keep working on projects where innovation truly improves how people and businesses operate. Personally, I want to keep challenging myself to grow and reach new heights. I believe that balance between professional ambition and personal fulfillment is what ultimately drives long-term success.
