Mashfrog Group is a sponsor of Virtus GVM Roma 1960
On the field with the Rome-based team, bringing all our sport digital experience expertise — from the TicketWallet app to AI applied to athlete performance. An ambitious journey that began with a gala dinner at the michelin-starred Pipero restaurant.

We are a gold sponsor of Virtus GVM Roma 1960! This marks Mashfrog Group’s debut in top-tier basketball, as well as a new chapter in the world of sports, where for years we’ve been providing digital services to teams, fans, and athletes.
"We are excited to welcome Mashfrog Group, a leading company in digital development, into our family,” said Massimiliano Pasqualini, president of Virtus GVM Roma 1960. “I’m confident that this partnership can create great opportunities in a continuously growing market."
"We chose Virtus GVM Roma 1960 because we identify with their ambitious approach, because our main office in Italy is in Rome and we are "virtussini" by nature, and because sports are also part of our digital DNA," explains Edoardo Narduzzi, founder and CEO of Mashfrog Group.
"We are the creators of the TicketWallet app, which offers clubs and fans integrated services for a new sports experience. We manage the digital communication for football clubs and are developing AI applications for monitoring and improving athlete performance. We bring all of this to Virtus — as sponsors, as partners, and as fans," explains Narduzzi.
The gala evening at the michelin-starred Pipero restaurant
The great excitement surrounding the new season of Virtus GVM Roma 1960 is confirmed not only by the excellent preseason results of the roster coached by Marco Calvani, but also by the strong support the entire city of Rome is showing for the team — following in the footsteps of the revival dream launched five years ago by Alessandro Tonolli and Maurizio Zoffoli.
After receiving video messages of support from Francesco Totti and Fiorello, Virtus GVM Roma 1960 experienced a special moment on Friday, September 12. The new team — led by owner Ettore Sansavini and Team Service president Emilio Innocenzi — gathered at the Michelin-starred Pipero restaurant for an evening of celebration and connection with many supporters.
At the gala dinner, alongside the club, the full roster, and the coaching staff, attendees included journalist Pierluigi Pardo; prominent figures from the Roman business community and international companies such as Mashfrog Group, Panasonic, and McDonald’s; institutional representatives like Antonello Aurigemma, President of the Regional Council of Lazio; and political figures such as Luciano Nobili and Mario Ciarla.
Mashfrog and sports: a new digital experience
The partnership with Virtus GVM Roma 1960 marks Mashfrog’s debut in the world of basketball, but it follows a long series of projects and initiatives that, for years, have established the Group’s strong and ongoing connection to sports as a digital player.
In addition to producing video content for ACF Fiorentina’s communications — most recently the documentary “Quarto Tempo. Tutto il resto della vita” — Mashfrog is also a partner of several Serie A and Serie B football clubs, providing ticketing services.
TicketWallet is the digital solution developed by Mashfrog Group in partnership with Vivaticket to manage sports tickets and season passes in a fully digital format. It allows fans to enter the stadium using a smartphone QR code, manage subscriptions or membership cards, change users or seats, suspend or block season tickets, and even resell tickets — including offline.
With TicketWallet, entertainment and technology come together to offer fans and clubs a new sports experience — one that provides full monitoring of the user journey (pre-purchase, purchase, and post-sale) and can also integrate the organizer’s digital property feeds, enabling amplified sharing of social content on Instagram, TikTok, X, and news platforms.
