To EXIST means to be present: YATO sponsors the future of hospitality at TTG 2026

YATO Group will sponsor TTG Travel Experience and bring the 2026 theme “EXIST” to life by putting technology at the service of the guest experience: less operational friction, more time for hotel and restaurant guests, and the people who welcome them.

In the hospitality industry—which includes hotels, food service, and guest services—the real challenge is not simply introducing technology to streamline operation. It is ensuring that technology creates more space for  human connection at the front and the back of the house.

The strength of this perspective inspired YATO Group to sponsor the TTG Travel Experience 2026, taking place October 14–16 at the Rimini Expo Centre. This year’s theme, “EXIST,” calls on the tourism and hospitality industry to reaffirm the central role of human experience: being present, fully experiencing places, and building authentic relationships instead of moving through and consuming experiences absentmindedly.

The value of technology that goes unnoticed

For guests and staff, many seemingly simple moments conceal considerable operational complexity. Paying a deposit, registering documents, assigning a room, purchasing an additional service, charging a restaurant bill to a room, or settling the final balance all involve platforms, payments, checks, and reconciliations. For a restaurant, managing a tableside order, a payment, a tip, a deposit, or an additional service presents the same challenge: connecting people, operations, and systems without disrupting the customer experience.

When these steps are disconnected, that complexity falls on people. Guests face waits and interruptions, while staff must duplicate information, monitor multiple systems, and correct potential discrepancies.

YATO, an integrated platform for managing hospitality operations, payments, and compliance, was created to bridge this gap. Integrated with Oracle Opera and SimphonyYato connects the guest experience, hotel operations, and payments within a single ecosystem, supporting every stage of the stay from pre-check-in to check-out. Digital technology thus becomes the hotel’s invisible engine: present when needed, but never taking center stage over hospitality. At the same time, it natively supports restaurant processes, including orders, payments, tips, tableside services, and interactions between staff and customers.

From check-in to check-out, a seamless journey

Before arrival, YATO supports pre-check-in, data collection, and document uploads, as well as the automated delivery of PayByLink requests for deposits, pre-authorizations, and balance payments. Payments are recorded directly in the PMS, reducing manual tasks and reconciliation errors. In the restaurant industry, the same platform makes it possible to manage tableside orders and payments, all major payment methods, tips, and upselling activities, reducing manual steps and wait times.

Upon arrival, YATO’s mobile-first approach allows staff to welcome guests even away from the front desk. Through the mobile app, they can scan documents, assign rooms, manage keys, offer additional services, and complete check-in. Operations follow the guest, instead of forcing the guest to follow operational processes. In restaurants, the same approach brings operations directly to the table, leaving more room for meaningful customer interactions.

The same principle applies throughout the stay. Additional services, food and beverage purchases, and activities can be charged directly to the room, while data flows remain aligned across the PMS and POS. At departure, payments and adjustments to charges can be completed on mobile devices, preventing further congestion at the front desk.

Greater efficiency, stronger relationships

Automation does not replace the human dimension of hospitality: rather it makes it possible to restore time ,attention, and depth. Freeing staff from fragmented procedures allows them to devote greater attention to a request, a recommendation, or an unexpected need. Reducing lines and unnecessary steps gives guests a memorable check-in experience and more time to enjoy their stay. Connecting payments and operations also provides finance and operations teams with up-to-date data on revenue, services, outlets, and time slots, improving oversight and decision-making. In hotels and restaurants alike, automation does not replace the human side of hospitality: it gives back timeattention, and quality to every interaction.

YATO has already successfully applied this approach in the hotel industry. At I Portici Hotel, the platform helped digitize check-in, check-out, and payment processes through online pre-check-in, PayByLink, mobile procedures, QR code-enabled room charges, and the automated transmission of guest information to public authorities. The established result has been a smoother experience for guests and a more sustainable way of working for hotel staff. In measurable terms, the hotel achieved a 45% reduction in front-desk wait times

This approach is also applied in the restaurant industry. At Pipero Roma, the integration between Simphony and YATO contributed to a 400% increase in tips, demonstrating how a simpler, more seamless payment experience can create value for both customers and staff.

Technology at the service of presence

TTG 2026’s “EXIST” theme calls on the tourism industry to design real, lived experiences that help people reconnect with others, with places, and with themselves. Achieving this goal does not require choosing between innovation and human connection. It requires designing innovation around human connection.

YATO is a platform designed to support this vision: intelligent hospitality, where systems, data, and payments work together seamlessly, while guests, customers, and staff can focus on what makes the experience valuable. In hotels and restaurants alike, technology should simplify work and make interactions more authentic. Because in hospitality, to exist means, first and foremost, to be present.
