The makeover of LUMSA.it portal in Agile mode, focused on co-design and usability-accessibility testing, integrating Drupal headless.

LUMSA University's website makeover project was influenced by several aspects: from the client's needs to the outcomes of preliminary analysis and research, from customised best practice adaptation to lessons learnt from clients and suppliers.

The main goal was to develop a modern and accessible digital environment, supporting the university's current and future communication initiatives. In this regard, we designed a website that allows administrators to independently manage the creation of pages, using combinable functional blocks.

Furthermore, the implementation of the Drupal CMS has enabled better integration and interoperability with other LUMSA or third-party systems.

Figma / Figjam (Tool)

A collaborative user interface design tool that allows for a dialogical form of UI development, enabling different people to communicate within the same project. A practical, effective, and functional tool for creating high-quality websites, apps, and interfaces where design thinking and graphic design integrate optimally.

After Effects (Tool)

The Adobe Suite software contributes to implementing interface creativity and ensuring an immersive and engaging user experience. It is a must-have that distinguishes the skills of the UX/UI team, allowing for advanced and personalized solutions for graphic animation, compositing, and video editing.

Drupal headless

Ideal for creating a multichannel data consumption strategy, it is useful in projects that prefer a headless architecture, like most of the latest generation Web Apps, based on decoupling between the backend and frontend. A solution that reduces development times, improves UI, makes technological choices more agile and increases product speed and performance.

CRM

In a digitalized world that offers continuously evolving SaaS and cloud-based CRM solutions, it is not enough to only know the functionalities and technical specifications of each software or application. For this reason, in addition to having development skills for the main solutions on the market, such as Salesforce or SAP, we offer a consolidated experience in the entire process of CRM UX design.

Refactoring

A methodology particularly suitable for Agile project development that allows you to modify the internal structure of portions of code without changing their external behavior. Practical and effective for improving non-functional characteristics of software such as readability, maintainability, reusability, code extensibility, as well as reducing its complexity, also through the posterior introduction of design patterns.
