As part of the management of modernisation works on its road assets, Anas has started a project by leveraging specific SAP components that allow the assets to be viewed in cartographic form. The chosen technological solution is called SAP GEF (Geographical Enablement Framework) and guarantees access to a digital historical database. The project, which was completed in November 2023, has brought major benefits in the area of:
- Digitisation of previously manual and very time-consuming processes;
- Planning and monitoring of investigation activities with the support of a mapping tool;
- Improvement of the quality and speed of processes through an application based on the functionalities offered by the SAP BTP suite.
