Mashfrog for Procurement brings Agentic AI to the Fincantieri Procurement Academy
The M4P team shared its expertise and vision on the future of intelligent procurement during the fourth edition of the SDA Bocconi School of Management program.
Artificial Intelligence is opening a new chapter in the evolution of procurement. The challenge is no longer only about automating operational activities, but about creating intelligent systems capable of supporting faster, smarter, and data-driven decisions.
Within this context, the Mashfrog for Procurement (M4P) team participated in the 4th edition of the Fincantieri Procurement Academy, the training program organized by the SDA Bocconi School of Management for procurement professionals and managers.
The session, attended by Prof. Giuseppe Stabilini, Scientific Director of the program, and Lorenzo Diaferia, AI Lecturer, represented an important opportunity to engage with Fincantieri’s procurement community. During the event, the M4P team shared its experience in designing and developing agentic platforms aimed at transforming procurement processes.
From process automation to intelligent procurement
The session focused on the Mashfrog for Procurement Suite, an ecosystem of AI Agents designed to help organizations evolve towards a smarter, more proactive, and data-driven procurement model.
Through real-world use cases and practical business scenarios, M4P highlighted how Agentic AI can deliver value across the entire Procure-to-Pay lifecycle by improving operational efficiency, decision-making, governance, and cross-functional collaboration.
AI Agents represent a further evolution of traditional digital tools: they are not only designed to provide information, but to interact with data, processes, and people, helping organizations build more agile and value-driven procurement functions.
Innovation and skills: connecting academia and industry
M4P’s participation in the SDA Bocconi Procurement Academy further confirms Mashfrog’s commitment to promoting the practical adoption of Artificial Intelligence through the sharing of expertise, experiences, and best practices.
The continuous dialogue between academia and industry plays a key role in accelerating innovation and developing solutions able to address real business challenges.
Thanks to the SDA Bocconi School of Management, Prof. Giuseppe Stabilini for the invitation, and to all participants for the valuable discussions and insights shared during the session.
