The EasyWallet research project proposes a new kind of electronic payment service, using latest-generation computer technology.

Sponsored by TrustMyPhone, the mashfrog group company specialized in mobile technology, and in partnership with University of Cagliari - Department of Mathematics and Information Technology (DMI), the research project is developed as part of the Operational Program 2014-2020 financed by the European Fund for Regional Development (POR FESR 2014-2020).

The goal of EasyWallet is to implement a circuit for low-cost money management supported by technological solutions that guarantee a simple and fast user experience, able to create a sharing economy system with great potential for companies operating in tourism in Sardinia.

The platform aggregates a community of business users, which will provide money management services to a second community of consumer users, with dual B2C and B2B value.

EasyWallet is an innovative system for deposits, withdrawals and money transfers that is simple and reliable. It is unique in that it gives the the consumer user the possibility of depositing and withdrawing the money from the business user. At the same time, it allows the business user to diversify its revenues thanks to the income generated by the service for the consumer user.

The project proposal calls for the introduction of money management with mobile application solutions and is integrated with a blockchain which provides the framework to make these services more secure, fast and reliable as they are implemented with traditional technologies.
